Radio Kit
No Soldering Required! This is a great kit for beginners and wonderful for that
first electronic kit to build with your daughter, son, or grandchild.
This kit is targeted towards those who have not yet experienced electronic
kits assembly. This is a non-solder kit using components that "snap"
into a PCB board outfitted with posts (see picture). This is a
simple kit to build and gives that budding electronics buff a very nice
functional fm radio at the end of the project. Kit is equipped with
Auto Scan Tuning so radio stations can be tuned at the touch of a button.
This is also appropriate for an educational kit for children 7-12 years
old. The illustrated instruction manual includes information about
radio waves and the basic operation of a radio.
The radio is pre-wired for easy assembly. Users need only to plug in
the various components, attach an antenna and a ground wire, and make
tuning adjustments to get the radio working. The box can be customized by
covering it with paper and then adding your own artwork.
