Surface Mount Training
Course
The SM200K Surface Mount Technology (SMT) course will familiarize you
with all aspects of SMT. You will learn to recognize and read the values of resistors and
capacitors. You will work with special light emitting diodes and integrated circuits.
SOLDERING TECHNIQUES IN SMT
You will practice the special techniques of soldering SMT components to
the PC board pads and desoldering components as required in repair work. You will learn to
work in very close component locations.
PROVING YOUR WORK
The final results of your project will be a unique decision making
device, that gives you random indications from six light emitting diodes (LEDs) and a
chirping sound from the ceramic speaker. We provide a special face plate of translucent
plastic. Have fun with your decision maker at work, parties or other gatherings.
